Guest events

Although visitors are welcomed on any occasion, we run a variety of events where the Bible message is more specifically discussed, taught or preached, in various contexts. We encourage church members to always be considering what may be the right occasion to which they can invite their friends.

Every now and then we advertise a particular Sunday morning or other meeting as one that especially has visitors in mind. The songs and teaching are designed to present the Bible message to them in such a way that they have opportunity to consider things further if they so wish. Prayer for healing or other situations is also offered to anyone present. Sometimes this guest morning is part of a larger Newfrontiers event called Front Edge. On such a weekend there will be a visiting Evangelist from another Newfrontiers church, and many other Newfrontiers churches are staging guest events on the same weekend.

A particular version of a guest event is our Christmas Carol Service. This is presented as a combination of traditional carols and readings, and a Bible message with a Christmas theme - all washed down with coffee and mince pies afterwards.
